You can imagine we get a lot of questions, here are the most common.
What is barKadelphia’s reservation policy?
We require reservations Monday – Friday (the more notice the better). Notification the morning of could result in being turned away in the event that we are fully booked on any given day. Reservations can be booked directly through our client portal via EMAIL or by phone at 215-413-2275 (BARK ). Please note that reservation requests left on our voicemail cannot be guaranteed.
What is barKadelphia’s cancelation policy?
Please be courteous to our other clients and notify barKadelphia in the event you need to cancel.
Please notify us of all cancellations before 8AM the day of your scheduled reservation to allow other clients the ability to book a day at barKadelphia.
If your dog has a scheduled daycare reservation and does not show up for Doggie Daycare you may be charged a non-cancelation fee of $25.00.
Do packages expire?
barKadelphia offers two types of packages: Monthly unlimited, which will expire on the date of purchase the following month (for example, if you buy a package on the 15th of May, it will expire on the 15th of June). The 10-session package will never expire and can be used at anytime.
What will my dog do at daycare?
The dogs will socialize with other canines of similar temperaments off leash in a cage free environment. Playtime is 100% monitored by trained staff members. We have two separate play areas to safely accommodate dogs all different sizes, ages and temperaments.
Throughout the day we will work with the dogs on basic obedience by running through commands (sit, down, stay, etc.). We also incorporate monthly enrichment activities that keep the pups mentally stimulated as well as physically. We allow all dogs to run, play, nap according to how they are feeling that day. At the end of the day you will have a relaxed, happy and exhausted dog!
Does barKadelphia offer grooming services?
We do not offer grooming services on site, however we have partnered with Doggie Style Pets. If you wish to have your pup groomed while at daycare, we offer free drop off and/or pick up so you will have a freshly groomed dog upon pickup from daycare. Simply schedule an appointment with Doggie Style Pets. for all grooming needs and confirm with us the date and time at least 24 hours in advance.
Can I get Canine CPR certified at barKadelphia?
Absolutely! barKadelphia prides itself on incorporating the community into its line of business to help strengthen awareness and provide education. Contact us for more information.
What forms of payment do you accept?
barKadelphia accepts all major credit cards, checks, & cash.
Where will my dog go to the bathroom?
The dog runs are treated as an indoor dog park, employees are there to clean up any messes that may occur, with animal safe cleaning solution, through out the day. Rest assured, this will not un-do any potty training!
How do I schedule a meet and greet with barKadelphia?
What vaccinations are required before attending daycare?
All dogs must have current vaccinations including Rabies, Bordetella, Lepto, and Distemper/Parvo (DHPP). No exceptions will be made. Please note that owners are responsible for providing barKadelphia updated vaccinations as dogs are revaccinated. Failure to provide proof of updated vaccinations, may prevent your pup from enjoying pack play.
Does my dog have to be neutered or spayed before coming to daycare?
All pups over the age of 6 months are required to be neutered or spayed before attending daycare.
Will my dog be fed at daycare?
Please feed your dog before coming to daycare if necessary as we do not feed onsite. Exceptions will be made for pups with special diets or special medical needs.
